For a single missing tooth, we can install a traditional dental bridge. This involves placing dental crowns on two teeth adjacent to the missing one and anchoring artificial teeth between them. This restores full function to the bite and prevents the remaining natural teeth from shifting out of position.
We also offer implant supported bridges which provide greater stability and durability than the traditional bridge. A dental implant post is inserted into the gum tissue where the natural tooth once was to support an artificial tooth crown. This solution requires less preparation of the neighboring teeth than traditional bridges and provides more security for the restoration.
At our practice, we only use high-quality materials to fabricate our dental restorations. This ensures our patients enjoy many years of improved oral health and wellness after undergoing their treatment with us. Contact our office today for more information!

Dental implants can be used to replace a single missing tooth, but they can also be used to secure a partial denture. A partial denture is a removable appliance that can replace multiple missing teeth in a row or scattered throughout a smile line. The dentist may recommend dental implants over traditional dentures for a variety of reasons.
Traditional removable partial dentures are held in place with clasps that surround neighboring teeth. These restorations can rub on the gums and cause damage to the natural teeth they are attached too. However, implant-supported partial dentures use dental implant posts to anchor to the jawbone and snap into place with the surrounding teeth. This eliminates the damage that can occur with traditional partial dentures. In addition, dental implants stimulate bone growth so patients won’t experience jaw bone deterioration over time like they would with full-denture wearers.
If the patient already has implants from a previous procedure, they may be able to utilize these to support their partial denture. Talk to the dentist about your options today to determine if implant supported dentures are right for you.

When a tooth is missing, it can cause problems for other teeth. Other healthy teeth begin to shift or tilt toward the empty space in the mouth. It also causes problems with your bite and over time can even cause TMJ disorders. A dental implant is a prosthetic tooth that is attached to a small titanium screw that sits in the jawbone. The implant acts like a natural tooth root and supports a crown, bridge, partial denture, or even a set of dentures. An implant can also be used to support permanent dentures if none of your own natural teeth remain.
If you’re only missing a single tooth, one implant can be used to support a single crown. If you are missing several teeth in a row, an implant-supported bridge may be used to replace your teeth. If you have lost an entire arch of teeth in the upper or lower jaw, a full-arch set of replacement teeth can be made to fit dental implants. These full sets of replacement teeth are known as overdentures. They can be removed at night and placed in a special cleaning solution while you sleep. They are typically more comfortable and secure than standard dentures.
Since implants are securely attached to the jaw, they are a great long-term option for tooth restoration for patients of all ages. However, patients must have enough bone in their jaw to support the titanium post of the implant. For older patients, a bone grafting procedure may be performed to build up the bone structure to hold the implant securely in place. In some cases, the implant may not be possible at all due to insufficient bone for the procedure. Patients should speak to their dentist to learn more about options for replacing missing teeth after tooth loss occurs.
If you think that dental implants may be the right solution for you, make an appointment with your dentist today for a consultation appointment. Your dentist can review your condition and create a plan to help you restore your smile.
